If indeed, the world was made by the Son of God, why is the world not like Heaven?

Put yourself in the Son of God’s shoes (that’s a metaphor, of course).  You would only want a change in order to experience something different.  If you had a 2021 Ford Taurus 4-door sedan, it’s not likely you would wonder what it would be like to own another same make and equipment, same year, and some model.  Likewise, it would not be likely that the Son of God would wonder what it would be like to be in another environment exactly like Heaven so we can believe His wondering was as is described below:

“Into eternity, where all is one, there crept a tiny, mad idea, at which the Son of God remembered not to laugh.  In his forgetting did the thought become a serious idea, and possible of both accomplishment and real effects.” (T-27.VIII.6:2-3)

“… earth the … sorry outcome which is Heaven’s opposite in every way.”  (ACIM. W-131. 7:4)

The peace of God will only encompass the world when everyone stops exterminating or judging other people. “There is no victor and there is no victory.  And truth stands radiant, apart from conflict, untouched and quiet in the peace of GOD” (ACIM T-23.I,7:9-10). 4 “For as Heaven and earth become one, even the real world will vanish from your sight. 8The end of the world is not its destruction but its translation into Heaven.”  (ACIM T-11.VIII.1:7-8)

I noticed one person gave your book a 1-Star rating. Why would someone do that when you have so many 5-Star ratings?

Most people have strong religious beliefs (or a belief in atheism); taught to them when their minds were vulnerable in early childhood, when their conscious mind was very close to the surface of their subconscious mind, and these beliefs (now locked in their subconscious mind), differ from some of the logical explanations found in “A COURSE IN MIRACLES” (Abbreviated “ACIM” or simply “The Course”),  and consequently these people are very resistant to any contrary ideas as they become adults.  

Most of us will freely admit we do not understand what God is.  The Course tells us that we are One with God (ACIM. W-124).  That being the case, what are the chances that anyone understands themselves?  The Course tells us who we are and what we have in common with God.  People who are still stuck in their childhood beliefs will have a difficult time understanding the Course, and consequently, will have a difficult time accepting my book which is one of the few books (about the Course) that is limited to a factual synopsis of the Course.  A person who gives my book a 1-Star rating, might be giving the Course a 1-star rating, because my book accurately describes the Course.  My book does not water down the message of the Course, nor does it ignore sections of the Course, to make it more salable.

“You are at home in God, dreaming of exile but perfectly capable of awakening to reality" (ACIM, T-10.I.2:1).

Why is the Son of God apparently asleep, and dreaming?

“You are at home in God, dreaming of exile but perfectly capable of awakening to reality” (ACIM, T-10.I.2:1).

“Let us return the dream he (the Son of God) gave away unto the dreamer (all of us), who perceives the dream as separate from himself and done to him. ²Into eternity, where all is one, there crept a tiny, mad idea, at which the Son of God remembered not to laugh. ³In his forgetting did the thought become a serious idea (dream), and possible of both accomplishment and real effects (making the universe, including the world). ⁴Together, we can laugh them both away, and understand that time cannot intrude upon eternity. ⁵It is a joke to think that time can come to circumvent eternity, which means there is no time.” (ACIM, T-27.VIII.6:1-5)

How can billions of people have the same dream at the same time?

Again, this question has no simple answer and is one of the reasons we were given A COURSE IN MIRACLES.  Simply put, only one entity, the Son of God, is dreaming this dream, and the billions of people (us — like a hologram) who seem to be separate individuals in the dream are images of Himself in His dream.  See also this Q and A, and the definition of Oneness.

“God’s Oneness and ours are not separate, because His Oneness encompasses ours.” (ACIM, T-8.V.3:1)

How can I (and everyone else) be sinless?

This question has no simple answer and is one of the reasons we were given A Course In Miracles. The Course gives us an understanding and a basis to accept the fact that the universe and everything that seems to be in the universe is just a common dream that we are all having in the one and only mind we all share; but like all dreams, it has no basis in reality, i.e., there is no physical universe in eternity.  Once we accept this fact, it is simple logic to realize that no one can sin in Truth, but we can appear to do so in the dream of space and time and that dream is just an illusion.

“God’s Will for me is perfect happiness.

“There is no sin; it has no consequence.” (ACIM, W-101.6:6-7)
